Are We Worth It?

I am beginning to think that we have done something wrong or maybe we are doing too much right! We are running men away! Is Chivalry dead or is he diminished? Do men not appreciate real women anymore? I am so confused.
Chivalry, the ideal qualifications of a knight: courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms, was not only the code for a knight; but for men in general. The code of Chivalry started in the middle ages and its practice is insignificantly maintained today. The song “Treat her like a Lady” sung by the Temptations in 1985 addresses chivalry in many aspects. Opening doors, helping a woman with her coat, complimenting her, etc. were all ways of Chivalry practiced in the early 1900’s. In 2011 the recognition of Chivalry in songs is almost completely absent. “I do not feel chivalry is dead, merely diminished as fewer people are taught to be chivalrous.”
