Only Good for a Meal?

"Woman ... is the divine object, violated, endlessly sacrificed yet always reborn . . .,

said  Pauline RÉAGE in the introduction of the book The Image.”

“Women had a very stereotypical role in British society,” cooking, cleaning, and playing waitress at home. Although many women are still “stay at home moms;” many have used women’s suffrage to their full advantage by getting an education and starting a career.
As a women I am all for a women being independent, but I feel that men no longer respect the “stay at home moms.” Men of this millennium are too concerned with protecting their own empires to encourage women to stay at home.  “Men are allowed to have passion and commitment for their work [; but when women are asked to get a job we are only] allowed that feeling for a man, but not work.”
